You decide you can't risk swimming out with the weather quickly worsening. You decide to try and garner help from nearby. As you look around the park and waterfront, you see a young man who looks like he could help. He is straightening the sails of a small sailboat, preparing it to be hooked to his truck and towed out of the water. You feel a little strange approaching him, but no one else seems to see or hear the old woman, and she sounds desperate for help.

"Sorry to bother you," you begin, "but there is an older woman on a boat out there yelling for help for her husband. I thought with your experience on the water, you might be able to help."
The man turns to face you as you begin talking, and looks frustrated at first. But then his features soften, and he agrees to help. He begins to reset the sails and asks you to join him.
You aren't a very strong swimmer, and you don't know this man, but you feel you ought to help. After all, this was your idea. Perhaps he will understand if you stay on shore and wait to see what you can do form here.
