I Chronicles 29:11 "Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all."

My First Bloggy Giveaway!!

As we have been sorting through things and deciding what to bring with us to South Africa, you can imagine the difficult decisions that arise. And as you can tell from this blog how I LOVE to cook and bake, (well, except for the unfortunate Chocolate Scoop Cake Incident of '07-but that's another post altogether) it was hard for me to weed through my cook books.

But I have managed to narrow it down, and will be giving all three of these lovely cook books away. I will use a random number generator to pick the winners. They are all cookbooks given to me by churches we visited while on deputation. And though I would LOVE to keep them all, I simply have too many.

These all have great recipes submitted by the members of the church, and include things such as side dishes, appetizers, main dishes, pastas, salads, and beverages.

If you would like to win one of the three cookbooks, please leave a comment below sometime before oh, let's say Thursday September 6th at midnight. Sometime Friday I will use the random number generator to pick the winners.

And since the highest number of comments I have ever received has been 7, you stand a good chance of winning if you comment. Almost 50% I would wager.

If you are a winner, I will need your name and address, which I will be happy to have you send me through email. If you do not have a blog, or do not list your email on your blog, simply leave your email address in the comments section. Oh, and feel free to tell ALL your friends. If you like competition, that is.

Just think of all the mighty fine food you'll be making with your very own Baptist Church cook book.
