I Chronicles 29:11 "Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all."

Choose Your Own Adventure (2)

You don't trust your swimming skills to make it even the short distance to the boat, so you call out to a man nearby. "That woman needs help!" The man begins to remove his shoes to jump in the water, but the woman is already turning her boat around. "Fool!" You hear her shout before she speeds away.

You think it's odd, but decide to find a seat for the race. You sit in a nearby pavilion and watch the final preparations being made. Boats and captains are lining up along the large wooden pier. A man in an official-looking uniform steps up to a podium and makes an announcement in a microphone.

"According to reports from the Coast Guard, and the National Weather Service, we're going to postpone the race. Seems there's a doozy of a storm setting in. I suggest you all secure your boats along the pier, and find somewhere safe to wait out the storm. I know you're disappointed, but we would appreciate your immediate cooperation." A clap of thunder punctuates his short speech.

One man in particular seems to have a hard time with the announcement. "How do they expect me to do that? My brother helped me set up, but he's gone." The man looks around helplessly and spots you. "Hey, you there. Want to earn some money? Come and help me secure the boat and I'll pay you ten dollars."
